AsianRemedies.co.uk is an exciting multimedia project directed by leading artists, which seeks to explore and celebrate living traditions of Asian Medicines found in different generations of Asians and those with Asian heritage living in the UK. We are collecting and recording recipes and techniques for keeping well, as well as remedies for ill health: nourishing food and home remedies for all the life stages, or treatments and therapy for pain and sickness. Individual or community stories are being captured on film, in sound recording, arts installations and in book form. All of these will first be seen as the project progresses on this website.
